Mürren sits above the Lauterbrunnen valley, with streets and terraces facing the mountains. You can enjoy the village without continuing to the Schilthorn. A suitable walk and a stop for lunch are enough reasons to come. Check path conditions if you go beyond the village.
Arrival is part of the outing. From Lauterbrunnen, one route uses the cable car to Grütschalp and the train via Winteregg; Stechelberg has another cableway approach. Check which end of Mürren you reach and the walk to your destination, especially with bags. The homes on this site are around Lake Thun, not in Mürren.
